EFFECT OF DIFFERENT LEVELS OF NUTRIENT(NPK) SOLUTION ON THE YIELD AND NUTRITIONAL QUALITY OF HYDROPONIC MAIZE FODDER

Hydroponics technology refers to the approach where involving the cultivation of plants without using the any soil. It has emerged as a promising method for green fodder production. This technology can be developed to avoid shortage of animal feed caused by lack of arable land. The study aims to compare biomass production, analyze nutritional content, and assess the production costs of  hydroponically grown fodder species maize (Zea mays) among control (T0) and four groups (T1,T2,T3,T4 ) treated differently. The experiment was conducted at Khulna University. The research was conducted using completely randomized design (CRD) and experimental setup involved collection of seed, preparation of seeds, preparation of growing area.
